Rod is cooling his jets at home, while I’m heating mine on the edge of the Kilauea Crater on the Big Island of Hawaii. Ferdy on Films, etc. is going to take a break for vacation. We’ll be back soon with all new reviews and reports from the world of offroad cinema. Mahalo! l

I think that was one of the most successful blogathons ever. An incredibly high amount of participants and such great posts all around. The topic allowed such a variety of interpretations that I think you could have done this for two weeks if you’d wanted. Thanks for doing this and enjoy your vacation.

Marilyn – it was terrific fun not only contributing but reading the other posts. Like many others, I’ll have to search out “Simple Men” just due to that Sonic Youth scene.
Could I trouble you to update that list of contributors with my own name? I think I just got dropped off due to my initial link on the first day being right next to another Bob (Damn you Westal!).
    B-)

It was a fantastic blog-a-thon. Glad so many people participated.

Well deserved! Nice work and enjoy the vacation.

Bob, I corrected my omission. Thanks for drawing my attention to it.
I’m glad you all enjoyed it and picked up some new facts and finds. That’s what makes this Internet-thingy so great – finding your “own kind” all over the world!

You people are GREAT!!!! This has been wild and woolly to no end. Thanks for giving your takes on dance which had to be seen to be believed!!
